Marshal Tito of Yugoslavia referred to the Middle East situation during an audience with Pope Paul VI yesterday, it was reported today. Tito reportedly told the Pontiff that he considered the present Middle East crisis dangerous and that Yugoslavia was trying to help in the search for a peaceful settlement “so that the consequences of the war of aggression of June, 1967 can be eliminated and so that all people and countries of that region can live in peace and security.” According to sources, Tito presented a strong case for the Arab cause.
