Funeral services were held today for Dr. Jacob I. Steinberg, a cofounder of the American Jewish Congress and the Keren Hayesod–Palestine Foundation Fund–who died here at the age of 84 after a long illness. Dr. Steinberg, a former national president of Bnai Zion, the American Zionist fraternal order, was born in Rumania and emigrated to the United States in 1902. He was graduated as a dental surgeon from New York University in 1930.
