The Foreign Ministry today flatly denied a report in the French newspaper Le Figaro that Israel had permitted the shipment of American arms through her territory to Jordan. According to the paper, American heavy arms including tanks were unloaded at an Israeli Mediterranean port and driven through Israel to Jordan last September during the Jordanian civil war.
