Yeshayahu said he was told by Wilson who recently visited Moscow that the latter brought up the subject of Soviet Jewry whenever he met with Premier Alexei Kosygin. Wilson said the Soviet leader always took the line that there was no Jewish problem in the USSR but invariably “something happens” after these conversations. He told the Israeli labor leader that he was sure something would happen this time too. Asked if he meant Miss Aleksandrovich. Wilson replied in the affirmative and added that he meant even more serious cases but did not elaborate, Yeshayahu reported.
