Black Panthers here are exchanging printed material and information with the Black Panthers in the United States, according to Charlie Bitton, a leader of the Israeli Panthers, Bitton, recently returned from a meeting last month in Florence, Italy where he made contacts with the US Panthers, said the Americans promised to stage a solidarity strike and demonstration whenever their Israeli “colleagues” do so. The US Panthers were sympathetic to the Israeli Panthers, Bitton said and extended “spiritual encouragement.”
