The meeting of top Jewish community leaders scheduled for Washington next Monday and Tuesday has been cancelled in light of Premier Golda Meir’s visit to the capital next Thursday. Mrs. Meir will meet with President Nixon and Secretary of State William P. Rogers to discuss the Mideast situation. The meeting of over 100 American Jewish leaders was called by the Conference of Presidents of Major American Jewish Organizations to deal with the course of US Mideast policy and the new threat of war by Egypt.
