Sources here said yesterday that UN Secretary General Kurt Waldheim will meet next Monday in Washington with President Nixon and Secretary of State William P. Rogers to discuss issues now before the UN. Among the topics to be discussed, they said, will be Waldheim’s ideas for breaking the deadlocked Middle East peace talks under the auspices of Dr. Gunnar V. Jarring. The Nixon-Waldheim talks are expected to sot the tone of US-UN relations for the future. They had been cool during U Thant’s term as Secretary General.
