The establishment of an Arab League Office in Chile will not cause deterioration of relations between Chile’s Arab and Jewish communities, Pres, Salvador Allende Gossens told Rabbi Abraham Herzberg of Mexico City, who is visiting Latin America on a good-will tour as a member of an inter-faith mission. The President also said that complete freedom of religion exists in Chile. During his stay in this city, Rabbi Herzberg had an interview with Chile’s Roman Catholic Primate, Silva Cardinal Henriquez, and met with Jewish leaders.
