A Chicago lawyer, Gene K. Edlin, has sent a check for $25 to Shaul Ramati, Israeli Consul General in Chicago, saying that this follows Egyptian President Anwar Sadat’s latest inflammatory speech against Israel. The lawyer added that every time Sadat makes such a speech he would send a similar donation to Israel. If Sadat realizes that he thus becomes a fund-raiser for Israel he will perhaps think again before making such speeches. Edlin concluded in the accompanying letter.
