The Bulgarian Council of State has awarded Haim Loise Salomonov, a Jew, the order of “Ninth September 1944” for his “outstanding performance in socialist competition,” government sources announced today. The order is awarded to Bulgarian workers who distinguish themselves in work for the national economy. Salomonov, a resident of Yasna Poliana, a village in the region of Burgas, was awarded the order on the occasion of the yearly festival of the light industry workers.
