The 11 Israeli athletes slain Sept. 5 in Munich will be honored at local Olympic Games next month, it was announced by Jewish Community Center President Robert Gurwitz. The first annual Olympic 11 Games, sponsored by the Center and 11 local Jewish organizations, are open to every athlete in the greater San Antonio area. Ehud Lador, Consul General of Israel in Houston and a number of athletes will be honored at an awards banquet Dec. 17 to mark the culmination of the games.
