Leon Dulzin, treasurer of the World Zionist Organization Executive, today presented a proposed 1973-74 budget of IL 131.8 million for the WZO. His proposal was made at a meeting of the Zionist General Council’s finance committee.

The proposed budget includes 45 million for encouraging aliya, from so-called free countries; 26 million for youth and student activities; 19 million for Jewish education in the diaspora; and 13 million for the Zionist Federation and for information activities in Jewish communities overseas. The committee debated the proposed budget and plans to continue its deliberations this week.

Left-wing extremists used the May Day march in Paris yesterday to demonstrate against “Israeli imperialist occupation” and in favor of the Palestinians.
