The Pope discussed the status of Jerusalem and the Middle East in a two-hour and twenty-minute meeting Monday with four African leaders, Emperor Haile Selassie of Ethiopia, Sudanese President Jaafar el-Numeiry, Liberian Vice-President James Greene, and Zambian Foreign Minister Vernon Mwaanga.
