Israel is confident of U.S. support in the event that an unbalanced draft resolution will be submitted to the United Nations Security Council which is scheduled to debate tomorrow the Israeli raid into Lebanon. Sources here said today the Israeli government had been gratified by the strong State Department condemnation of the massacre of Kiryat Shemona villagers and counted upon that same attitude prevailing in the American consideration of Israel’s bloodless reprisal warning. Foreign Minister Abba Eban briefed the Cabinet today on the anticipated Security Council meeting.
