Jewish sources in the Soviet Union reported that Soviet security police turned dozens of Soviet and American Jews off a bus Friday and prevented them from continuing on foot to a field where they had intended to picnic together. The Americans, members of a Jewish group of dentists on a tour of the USSR, later said they were surrounded by some 150 Soviet security men who demanded to see their passports and told them to leave their bus.
