Meir Feigenberg, the grandson of Jewish author Sholom Aleichem, has been named the new director of the “Danish Theater” (den Danske Teater). The 51-year-old Feigenberg will assume the position as of next year. Feigenberg told the JTA that “national or religious feelings will not be a factor” when he selects the theater’s repertory.
