El Al maintenance workers whose slowdown caused the airline to ground its 13 jets Dec. 26, appealed to the International Airline Workers Union in London and to other unions Monday not to provide El Al with foreign crews. A spokesman for the maintenance workers claimed they had assurances of support from fellow workers abroad.
