A 68-hour basketball game is going on at the Brooklyn College gymnasium to raise $15,000 for ambulances and other hospital and medical supplies for Israel. The marathon contest is being sponsored by the Youth for Israel, an organization of high school and college students, The contest started at 9 p.m. Saturday and by the 40th hour today about $11,500 had been collected, Spectators are asked to contribute by dropping funds in a bucket at the gym’s entrance. College students made up the two 20-man teams during the first 34 hours and high school students are now playing in the last 34 hours.
