A sculpture symbolizing the Soviet Jewish “Prisoners of Conscience” was dedicated last Sunday at the Minneapolis Jewish Community Center. The six foot monument contains photographs and personal information on all the prisoners. The sculpture will remain until all the “Prisoners of Conscience” are released and permitted to emigrate. Dr. Aleksandr Voronel, who only recently emigrated from the Soviet Union after suffering years of harassment, unveiled the exhibit.
