The Security Council will meet Thursday to vote on a draft resolution extending the mandate of the United Nations Emergency Force (UNEF) in Sinai for 12 months, ending Oct. 24, 1976. The draft was circulated among Security Council members today. The current UNEF mandate will expire this Friday. The draft resolution is issued without sponsorship and will be presented tomorrow by the President of the Security Council. Normally this indicates general agreement on the draft.
