During his stay in Caracas, Goldmann addressed a banquet in his honor by the Confederation of Jewish Associations and a public meeting organized by the Zionist Federation.

Sol Kanee, of Winnipeg, treasurer of the World Jewish Congress, joined Goldmann for part of his stay in Caracas. Kanee was on his way back to Canada from visits to Buenos Aires and Santiago.
