TEL AVIV (Dec. 1)
About 100 Gush Emunim settlers moved into two army camps on the West Bank today, completing plans approved by the government for the establishment of six new settlement groups before the end of the year. The latest settlements are at Beth Horon and Givon north of Jerusalem and close to the large Arab township of Ramallah.
Both sites will be populated initially by about 20 families each. The Gush claim that the current peace initiatives by President Anwar Sadat of Egypt will have no effect on their plans for further settlements in the occupied territories. However, they are not planning more new settlements at this time but will concentrate on strengthening those already established, it was learned here.
