Israel’s 20-odd Conservative and Reform congregations have formed on umbrella organization to press their case for religious pluralism. The founding meeting was convened here Tuesday at the request of the capital’s large and flourishing Mevakshei Derech Congregation, comprising mainly American immigrants and local intellectuals.
