It is reported from Japan that the Anne Frank exhibition shown there for 60 days, first in Tokyo and then in Yokohama, was visited by over 350,000 persons. The exhibition was organized jointly by the Anne Frank Foundation in Amsterdam and by a Tokyo newspaper. Anne Frank is extremely popular in Japan. Annually, at least 10,000 copies of the Japanese translation of her diary are sold and Japanese tourists in Amsterdam never fail to visit the Anne Frank House.
