Premier Menachem Begin suffered what seemed to be a slight heart flutter at the Knesset this afternoon. He was taken to Hadassah Hospital after walking, supported by Deputy Premier Yigael Yadin, from the plenary chamber to his own office one floor below.
A doctor was in attendance and, while Begin himself reportedly wanted to go back to the chamber, the doctor insisted that he go to the hospital for tests at the intensive care unit.
