Republican Presidential candidate Ronald Reagan said that he would ask “some experienced Democrats such as” Sen. Henry Jackson of Washington and Sen. Richard Stone of Florida to serve on his foreign policy transition team should he be elected next Tuesday. A press statement released by the Reagan-Bush Campaign Committee Monday said the team would monitor and assess international developments through inauguration day, Jan. 20. Among those on the team are Gerald Ford, Gen. Alexander Haig, Richard Allen, Henry Kissinger, Howard Baker and Prof. Eugene Rostow.
