Air France, the French airline, has reached a secret seven-figure out-of-court settlement with the 67 Israelis held hostage in the hijacking of one of its aircraft by Arab and German terrorists to Entebbe in 1976 and the relatives of those killed. According to a Jerusalem Post report today, the settlement is in U.S. dollars. The airline stipulated that the agreement remain secret to avoid influencing outstanding foreign claims still being negotiated.
