Dozens of Palestinian refugees who visited Israel under special permission from the IDF refused to return to south Lebanon when their entrance permits expired and hid in Arab villages in Israel, Israel Radio reported today. They said they would rather be jailed in Israel as illegal residents than return home to face Christian threats and violence.
