President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt has cabled President Chaim Herzog wishing “you and your people a just peace and a durable peace in our region, so that we enjoy security and tranquility.” Mubarak’s message was in response to one sent to him by Herzog on July 23 on the occasion of Egypt’s Day of Revolution marking King Farouk’s overthrow in 1952.
