The Aguda Israel is pressuring the government to enforce religious bans, particularly the Sabbath laws. Its four Knesset members extracted promises from Health Minister Eliezer Shostak and Transport Minister Haim Corfu on Monday to crack down on doctors who perform abortions outside the strict limits under which they are allowed and from the Dan and Egged bus companies for running buses on the Sabbath.
