An Israel Defense Force patrol found two craters formed by 107 mm. Katyusha rockets just across the border from Kibbutz Misgav Am. A military spokesman said the rockets were the type used by the Palestine Liberation Organization.

A man who aimed a hand-held missile launcher at an IDF patrol in the center of Sidon yesterday was shot to death by a soldier of the South Lebanese Army.
