Justice Minister Moshe Nissim announced Wednesday that Israel will wait on drawing a formal conclusion on the identity of the body exhumed and examined this month in Brazil and believed to be that of Josef Mengele until Israeli experts have examined all the data. Meanwhile, the New York based American Gathering of Jewish Holocaust Survivors urged West Germany not to allow Mengele’s remains to be buried in Germany.
