Israel is rushing medical and other supplies to help the estimated 100,000 people affected by the earthquake in San Salvador, capital of El Salvador, last Friday. The supplies are enroute to the Central American country by a special El Al flight via New York. President Jose Napoleon Duarte of El Salvador reported 876 dead, 8,176 injured and 30,988 families homeless as a result of the quake.
