Israel Air Force jets attacked terrorist targets near Sidon in south Lebanon at dawn Thursday and returned safely to their bases, a military spokesman announced. Light anti-aircraft fire was encountered. The raid was the fifth this year on terrorist strongholds in Lebanon.

According to military sources, the targets were a group of buildings on the outskirts of Mieh-Mieh, south of Sidon, used as terrorist headquarters and for planning attacks on Israel. Direct hits were scored.

Beirut radio reported Thursday that two persons were killed and five were wounded, three of them Palestinians, in the 10-minute attack. Rescue workers were reported to be checking the rubble for other casualties.
