JERUSALEM (Nov. 17)
Israel and Jordan are due to open embassies on Dec. 10, Israel Radio reported.
A Foreign Ministry delegation was in Amman this week to discuss economic issues and look for an appropriate site for the embassy.
The Itim news agency reported that Foreign Ministry officials would meet at the beginning of next month to appoint Israel’s first ambassador to Jordan. The nominee has been the subject of much speculation in Israel.
Meanwhile, one project the Israeli team was discussing is the proposed “Peace Valley” in the Dead Sea area, which will become a resort.
