The cost of living index rose by only 0.2 percent in February, the third straight month of relatively low increases, according to the Central Bureau of Statistics.
Prices for fresh produce and clothing west down, but housing costs were up 0.7 percent. The low index brought renewed called from industrialists and the Histadrut labor federation for the Bank of Israel to lower interest rates.
