The following is a list of Cabinet members appointed by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. Foreign Minister: David Levy, Gesher Defense Minister: Yitzhak Mordechai, Likud Finance Minister: Dan Meridor, Likud Justice Minister: Ya’acov Ne’eman Interior Minister: Eli Suissa, Shas Public Security Minister: Avigdor Kahalani, The Third Way * Housing Minister: Benjamin Netanyahu, Likud * Religious Affairs Minister: Benjamin Netanyahu, Likud Education and Culture Minister: Zevulum Hammer, National Religious Party Agriculture and Environment Minister: Rafael Eitan, Tsomet Tourism Minister: Moshe Katsav, Likud Science Minister: Ze’ev “Benny” Begin, Likud Immigrant Absorption Minister: Yuli Edelstein Yisrael Ba’ Aliyah Health Minister: Tzachi Hanegbi, Likud Transport and Energy Minister: Rabbi Yitzhak Levy, National Religious Party Communications Minister: Limor Livnat, Likud Industry and Trade Minister: Natan Sharansky, Yisrael Ba’Aliyah Labor and Social Affairs Minister, Eliyahu Yishai, Shas * Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is retaining the position of religious affairs minister, pending the completion of negotiations between Shas and the National Religious Party, which most likely will rotate the position.

Meir Porush, leader of United Torah Judaism, was appointed deputy minister of housing. Because his party for ideological reasons will not accept a Cabinet seat, Netanyahu is listed as housing minister, but in reality Porush is running up the ministry.

Discussions are continuing regarding the creation of a new Cabinet post – minister of infrastructure – to be filled by Likud Knesset member Ariel Sharon.
