Israel is slated to issue a stamp Tuesday honoring the work of Chabad-Lubavitch with Jewish children at risk as a result of radiation stemming from the 1986 Chernobyl disaster. Chabad’s Children of Chernobyl program has airlifted more than 1,500 children from Ukraine to Israel. It has also sent medicine and food into contaminated areas.
