An Israeli theater company opened the Lincoln Center Festival’s third season in New York. The Gesher, founded by Russian emigres in Tel Aviv in 1991, performed “Village,” a play about pre-state Israel. For its next summer festival performance on July 14, the group will stage “Adam Resurrected,” based on a surreal novel about the Holocaust, in a 350-seat circus tent.
