A German retailer apologized for using a slogan that hung over the entrance to the Buchenwald concentration camp. The phrase, “To Each His Own,” was used in a supermarket advertising leaflet for barbecue condiments. Last month, a German unit of a Finnish mobile phone company withdrew an advertising campaign that used the same slogan.
