News Brief

Two California businessmen are backing the efforts of white supremacists to reach out to thousands of homes in Idaho. The two, who grew wealthy in the computer business, did not deny allegations that they financed the recent mailing of anti-Semitic posters and videos to some 3,000 Idaho residents. The Alabama-based Southern Poverty Law Center, which monitors hate groups across the United States, said it was surprised by the quality and sophistication of the mailings.
