A former Arab Israeli legislator hopes to help make the desert town of Jericho bloom — with wedding bouquets. Abdel Wahab Darawshe said his company hopes to help Israeli couples interested in a civil ceremony get married in the self- rule town before Palestinian justice officials. Israelis presently must go abroad to have a civil marriage performed, with Cyprus the most popular destination.
