Tel Aviv University established what it is calling a Jewish Nobel Prize. Three prizes of $1 million will be awarded annually to people or groups in recognition of support for the Jewish people. The prizes will be awarded in the fields of public welfare, science and archaeology/history.
The Archive of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency includes articles published from 1923 to 2008. Archive stories reflect the journalistic standards and practices of the time they were published.
