The Israeli and Palestinian negotiating positions at Camp David remain far apart, according to Israel’s foreign minister. Speaking after a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Ehud Barak, David Levy said earlier statements made by Palestinian officials that the two sides were making progress are “baseless.”
