Democratic vice presidential candidate Joseph Lieberman says he should have answered a question about intermarriage on a radio talk show differently. Lieberman told the Internet magazine Salon that he should have said, “I’m not running for chief rabbi, I’m running for vice president,” when he was asked whether Judaism banned intermarriage and interracial dating.
