A sports stadium named after a German Jewish athlete barred from the 1936 Berlin Olympics was recently completed in Germany. The stadium in the city of Laupheim is named after Margaret Bergmann Lambert, who was kept out of the Berlin Games even though she was one of the country’s top high jumpers.
