U.S. official Paul Wolfowitz praised a plan based on Israel reverting to its pre-1967 borders. Wolfowitz, the deputy defense secretary and a close adviser to President Bush, told a Georgetown University audience Thursday that a one-page proposal circulated by the former head of the Shin Bet, Ami Ayalon, and former Palestinian official Sari Nusseibeh is the plan that best reflects the “road map,” peace plan.
