U.S. Sen. John Kerry did better Tuesday among Jews than among non-Jews in four out of five primary states with Jewish exit polling data. Kerry (D-Mass.) swept nine of the 10 states voting in primaries Tuesday, clinching the Democratic nomination. His main rival, Sen. John Edwards (D-N.C.) is expected to withdraw from the race Wednesday.
