Israel’s high court ordered the West Bank security barrier rerouted to reduce Palestinian hardship. “The current routing has created such hardship for the local population that the state must find an alternative,” the High Court of Justice said Wednesday, ruling in favor of petitioners who challenged the government’s expropriation of Palestinian land for a 20-mile section of the project northwest of Jerusalem.
