Israeli troops killed two Palestinians in a Gaza Strip clash. Soldiers patrolling the Gaza-Egypt border fired on a squad of Islamic Jihad gunmen who approached their outpost Wednesday, killing one terrorist. Witnesses in the nearby town of Rafah said a Palestinian passerby also was slain by Israeli fire.
